What is Tinsel Trail?

The Brookhaven Tinsel Trail is a festive holiday display in Brookhaven Park designed to showcase the unique neighborhoods that make up our great city. It’s a celebration of community where residents, businesses or local organizations can decorate a tree, share holiday cheer and highlight their one-of-a-kind identity.

Why Participate?
The holiday season is the ideal time to gather with others. Decorating a tree creates a lasting moment not just for all that participate but for each community member. Visitors of our city will recognize the passion we have for our parks, our pets, and our neighborhood. Brookhaven is a culture that thrives together. The Brookhaven Tinsel Trail is the ultimate “Belong Here” experience!

How Do I Sign Up?

Important Dates

Registration Deadline: November 15, 2026

Tree Installation: November 16 - December 1

Installation Deadline: December 1

Things to Remember

  • Artificial Trees only (between 4’ - 7’)
  • All decorations must be securely fastened to the tree
  • Battery or solar powered lights only. Glow sticks or similar non-electrical lights are acceptable
  • Displays may not include inappropriate material.
