Explore Brookhaven Welcomes New Team Members

Visitation has increased in the past year and Explore Brookhaven is reactive to the increased demand for services. We are happy to announce the hiring of two new team members – Megan Brown as a full-time Marketing Coordinator and Sharon Moskowitz as Explore Brookhaven’s Arts Consultant. Brown and Moskowitz are not the only new faces at Explore Brookhaven this year, Elizabeth Thompson, Explore Brookhaven’s Administrative Assistant, joined the team in January 2022.

“Come November I’ll have been Executive Director for four years. We have had a great time setting a solid foundation for the organization and have a great team ready to welcome more Guests,” says Executive Director Renée Areng.

Megan Brown joins the Explore Brookhaven team as Marketing Coordinator. Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in Media and Entertainment Studies with a minor in Engagement Marketing from Kennesaw State University. Brown will assist in Explore Brookhaven’s digital efforts to increase awareness of Brookhaven’s many restaurants, parks, and events. Sharon Moskowitz, a former Explore Brookhaven Board Member, is back to serve as an Arts Consultant for Explore Brookhaven. Moskowitz is well adapted to the cultural landscape and art opportunities available for Brookhaven. Sharon Moskowitz will also serve as Explore Brookhaven’s nominee on the City of Brookhaven Arts and Culture Commission through June 2025.
