The Brookhaven Ambassador Program celebrates locals who explore our city’s parks, events, restaurants, and hidden gems and are excited to share them with others. Whether you're a photographer, content creator, or simply someone who loves showing off the place you call home, this is your opportunity to help tell Brookhaven’s story.

What is a Brookhaven Ambassador?

A Brookhaven Ambassador is someone who genuinely enjoys exploring our community and sharing it through photos, videos, and blog posts. Ambassadors help inspire others to get outside, try something new, and experience Brookhaven from a fresh perspective.

We’re looking for 5 to 10 individuals who are already highlighting Brookhaven’s outdoor spaces, food scene, events, and local culture. If that sounds like you, we want to feature your work.

As a Brookhaven Ambassador, you’ll receive:

  • Brookhaven swag (t-shirt, cap, and more)
  • A feature on our Ambassador webpage
  • Social media spotlights through Explore Brookhaven platforms
  • Blog post features if you’re a writer
  • Permission to list “Brookhaven Ambassador” in your bio and on your social profiles

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for people who:

  • Live in or near Brookhaven
  • Are already exploring the city’s parks, restaurants, events, and attractions
  • Are active on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and/or TikTok
  • Have a genuine passion for sharing their experiences with others
  • Create content that aligns with our brand values and community spirit

You don’t need a large following. We’re more interested in your voice, your perspective, and your connection to the community.

What to Expect

As a Brookhaven Ambassador, you’ll be part of a creative team that helps highlight everything that makes our city unique. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Post 2 to 3 times per month about Brookhaven
  • Use the hashtags #ExploreBrookhaven and #BelongHere
  • Tag Explore Brookhaven in your Brookhaven-related content
  • Follow all Explore Brookhaven social media accounts
  • Share or repost Explore Brookhaven content
  • Be open to covering events, attractions, or restaurants when requested
  • Wear your Brookhaven swag when possible
  • Keep your content clean and community-friendly (no profanity or inappropriate material)
  • List “Brookhaven Ambassador” in your social media bio

Writing blog posts is not required but encouraged if that’s something you enjoy!
