Mah Jongg fans and first-timers are invited to an afternoon of strategy, socializing, and happy hour specials at The Ashford, hosted by Rocket Mahjong. Whether you're a seasoned player or brand new to the game, there's a seat for you at the table.

Hong Kong Mahjong Crash Course
Learn the fast, strategic version of Mah Jongg that originated in 1880s China. No experience necessary—perfect for beginners or those only familiar with the American style.

Supervised Play – American or Hong Kong Style
Already know the basics? Join a casual game with guidance available. Choose your preferred version, and Rocket Mahjong will provide the setup and be on hand to assist with rules, etiquette, and gameplay.

Attendees will enjoy happy hour specials with full table service from The Ashford while they play. Seating is limited, and Rocket Mahjong will do their best to match participants to a full table.

If a match can’t be made, guests will be notified by noon on Thursday and receive a refund. Solo sign-ups will be seated with at least two other players when possible.
